Coppin Heights CDC

Coppin Heights Community Development Corporation (CHCDC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to developing and improving affordable housing in the Greater Coppin Heights/Rosemont community.

Since 2014 the CHCDC has functioned as an independent entity, acting as a unifying force and consistent voice for community members, faith-based institutions, and small businesses during times of changing political leadership and shifting investment priorities.

The Coppin Heights CDC has produced substantive benefits for the local community through hard work and collaboration. Our focus has exclusively been development within Baltimore City.

West North Avenue

Revitalization Project

The Coppin Heights CDC has partnered with The Department of Housing and Community Development to bring home ownership along West North Avenue. The West North Avenue Revitalization Project begins with the redevelopment of apartments and a new commercial space at Walbrook Mill followed by new construction of residential row houses in the 2600, 2700 and 2800 blocks of West North Avenue.

Hebrew Orphan Asylum

Development Project

The historic Hebrew Orphan Asylum (HOA) was redeveloped into a hub of healthcare innovation that shifts the paradigm of care in West Baltimore. This Project hosts multiple organizations providing a range of medical and social services to low-income residents across the city.

Parkway Overlook

Development Project

Pax-Edwards, LLC (PAX), Osprey Property Company II LLC (Osprey), and Coppin Heights Community Development Corporation (CHCDC) are pleased to present Parkway Overlook, a proposed 180-unit "twinned" housing project located in Baltimore City. Parkway Overlook will offer high quality development which scales down the density from the existing Gwynn Crest Apartment community. The newly developed property will promote connectivity, walkability and use of convenient public transit.

Revitalization Project

Pax-Edwards, LLC (PAX), Osprey Property Company II LLC (Osprey), and Coppin Heights Community Development Corporation (CHCDC) are pleased to present Midtown At Coppin Heights , a proposed 199-unit “twinned” housing project located in Baltimore City. Midtown at Coppin Heights will offer high quality development which scales down the density from the existing Gwynn Crest Apartment community.
